Another professional booking! DMR All Star to play Young Violet at Heritage Theatre Festival!

Kaitlin Burton March 2015 HeadshotDMR Adventures is thrilled to announce that another one of our amazing DMR All Stars has landed a professional gig. Kaitlin Burton will play the role of Young Violet in the production of Violet at Heritage Theatre Festival.   Violet will run from July 28–August 1 in the Culbreth Theatre.  On learning she was cast in the role, Kaitlin said “I am humbled, honored, and very excited to have this opportunity to work with Bob Chapel and the many talented people I will learn from this summer.  I love this musical, and look forward to being a part of Heritage Theatre Festival!”

Kaitlin appeared this past fall in the title role in Cinderella, produced by DMR Adventures at Fry’s Spring Beach Club. She recently traveled with the DMR All Stars to Atlanta, GA, where the troupe won the award for “Best Ensemble” at the Junior Theater Festival.  You can see Kaitlin play a different interpretation of Cinderella, this time in Into the Woods, Jr.  from April 24-26 at Burnley Moran Elementary.  In addition to her incredible work on stage with DMR Adventures, Kaitlin is also a member of the Youth Leadership Program, through which she assists in productions and classes in the performing arts.

Kaitlin, your DMR Adventures family is SO proud of your hard work, dedication, professionalism and passion! We know it won’t be long before you play on the same stages as you favorite performer, Sutton Foster!
