Technical Theatre Camp Week 1

Eligibility: Open to students in grades 5th to 10th.

Duration: One week.

Dates and Times:

Monday to Thursday: 9 AM - 4 PM
Friday: 9 AM - 7:45 PM (Performance of The Tempest at 7 PM)
Saturday: 12:30 PM - 5 PM (Performances of The Tempest at 2 PM and 4 PM)

Activities: Participants will engage in vital technical roles for two distinct production camps. Responsibilities include:

Assisting with The Tempest, our Shakespeare Production Camp.
Supporting the technical needs of Broadway Stars.
Making and gathering props, fitting and assigning costumes, creating sets.
Operating sound and lights.
Working alongside the stage management team to ensure smooth show execution.

Performance Schedule:

Broadway Stars: Friday at 12 PM.
The Tempest: Friday at 7 PM; Saturday at 2 PM and 4 PM.

Experience: This camp provides a dynamic and creative environment where students can explore the technical aspects of theater. It's designed to ignite imagination and provide hands-on experience in various backstage roles.

Cost: Variable pricing options available. Note that the camp fee does not include performance tickets, which are available at different price points.
