Broadway Bound Intensive
Rising 5th-9th
June 2-6
We will deep dive into basic Broadway choreography, necessary music theory and vocal technique, traditional acting techniques, and audition preparation. Students will learn what to expect when auditioning for and performing in a musical and how to prepare a role once they've booked it!
There is a strict limit of 14 students in this intensive.
While students do not need to prepare anything in advance, there will be opportunities to present and workshop solo pieces. If you have a song(s) or monologue(s) you'd like to workshop for auditions, please bring them to camp!
Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 10:00AM-5:00PM at Studio D on the Downtown Mall
10AM-Showtime on Friday at the Belmont Arts Collaborative
Showcase at 5:30PM on Friday
This is an intensive camp for 5th-9th grades and will primarily take place at Studio D on the downtown mall.
Experience is not necessary, but a passion for theatre is a must!
