It's showtime! Dive into the Netherworld with Beetlejuice JR., the outrageously entertaining musical adapted from Tim Burton's hit film and Broadway sensation. Lydia Deetz, an extraordinary teenager dealing with her mother’s death, finds herself in a haunted house alongside the infamous demon Beetlejuice. When Lydia seeks his help to scare off the living, chaos hilariously unfolds.
This intensive offers young performers the chance to explore vibrant humor and poignant themes with music and lyrics by Tony nominee Eddie Perfect and a script by the Tony-nominated duo Anthony King and Scott Brown.
Program Details:
Auditions: Open by Audition Only via self-tape video. Submission details at www.DMRAdventures.com/audition.
Audition Deadlines:
Early Admission: January 27, 2025
Notifications: February 2, 2025 via email. Full tuition due by February 16, 2025.
Rolling Admissions begin February 17, 2025.
Intensive Schedule:
Week 1: June 16-18, 20 from 9 AM to 4 PM (No camp on June 19)
Week 2: June 23-26 from 9 AM to 4 PM; June 27 from 9 AM to 7:30 PM (Performance at 6 PM)
Final Performances:
June 28 from 1:30 PM to 7:30 PM (Performances at 3 PM and 6 PM)
June 29 from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM (Final performance at 3 PM)
Additional Information:
Registration Perks: Includes a DMR T-shirt if registered by May 1, 2025.
Casting: Callbacks for roles in the first week of June.
Communication: Updates through the camp's BAND group.
Cost: Variable pricing; camp fee excludes performance tickets.
