About Guys & Dolls JR
Set in Damon Runyon’s mythical New York City, Guys and Dolls, JR. is an adaptation of the show considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy. Its namesake ran for 1,200 performances when it opened on Broadway in 1950 and won numerous Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Frank Loesser’s witty book and brassy, immortal score featuring favorites like “Luck Be A Lady,” and “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat,” and “Bushel and a Peck,” makes Guys and Dolls, JR. a perennial crowd pleaser.

Performed by a cast of 24 actors ages 8-14, this production is part of the DMR Summer Conservatory directed by visiting Broadway performer and choreographer, Deon Ridley.
