Click this link to register for our STAGE AND SCREEN WORKSHOP on Saturday, June 20 from 12-4 in Charlottesville, VA! You will be placed in four classes based on your selections and workshop availability at the time of registration. This workshop is geared for students aged 8-21 and their parents, but all are welcome. Class topics are located at the bottom of this page. Introducing our special guests:

Michelle Kelly, CSA (Casting Associate, Arvold Casting)
Some of Michelle’s credit’s include Steven Spielberg’s LINCOLN, TURN: WASHINGTON’S SPIES, MONTAUK (New Series on Netflix), and more!

Keven Quillon (Broadway Performer)
Some of Keven’s credits include Annie, Grease, Shrek: The Musical and A Christmas Story on Broadway. He is currently working on the new musical Bandstand, starring Laura Osnes, which will have it’s premiere at Paper Mill Playhouse this fall.

Brad Bass (Broadway Performer)
Some of Brad’s credits include Wicked, Jersey Boys, and Memphis on Broadway, He has many other tours and regional theatre credits on his resume and is currently developing a new musical with Cari Kassel, entitled The Collins Boy.

CLASS TOPICS

Brad Bass – Monologues for Auditions (limited to 5)
Prepare and memorize a monologue, one minute or less! Brad will give feedback and advice on using your monologue for auditions.

Brad Bass – Broadway Dance (Parents Welcome)
Put on your dancing shoes for a fun dance workshop with Brad. You’ll learn a combination to Thoroughly Modern Millie and hear an inspiring story about how Brad booked a role in that show!

Keven Quillon – Broadway Dance (Parents Welcome)
Keven works frequently as the Dance Captain on shows in which he performs. He’ll give you incredible insight and advice on your upcoming dance auditions and will help you understand what the choreographer is looking for. You’ll learn a combination to either Shrek: The Musical or the new musical, Bandstand.

Michelle Kelly – Basics of Film & TV (Parents Welcome)
Michelle will answer questions and help you understand some basics of the Film & TV Business, including: Headshots & Resumes, How to find out about auditions, What to expect in an audition and How to prepare for an audition.  Michelle will talk about her experience as a casting associate for Arvold and give you insight into casting kids for film and television.
If you have a headshot and resume, please bring to the class for feedback.

Brad Bass- Vocal Coaching for Auditions (limited to 5)
Prepare and memorize an “audition cut” of a song (16-32 bars or a verse and a chorus). Bring accompaniment on CD or your iPhone/iPod or sing a cappella.

Keven Quillon- Vocal Coaching for Auditions (limited to 5)

Michelle Kelly – Audition Technique for Film/TV – Cold Reading
Michelle will provide audition material from film and television that you will have a chance to read.  She will give feedback and help you with tips on how to best prepare audition material.

Keven Quillon- Q&A – Getting into the Broadway Biz
(Parents Welcome)
Keven will tell you about his journey to the Broadway stage
and will talk to students (and parents) to answer questions about headshots, auditions, agents, training, college programs, and anything else you may
want to know about the  biz!
