Broadway Kids
Grades 1-6 (Older students by instructor permission)

If you musicals, and can’t stop yourself from dancing when a great song comes on, then this is the class for you! We’ll explore the fantastic songs and scenes made famous by the Broadway musical, Annie! Students will begin each class with a physical and vocal warm up, and then move into learning songs, choreography, or scenework. Come dressed to move in dancewear or athletic wear – jazz shoes recommended. All students must purchase a t-shirt to wear at the parent/family performance on December 15 at 5:30, where you child should also wear black jazz pants, shorts or leggings. T-Shirts may be ordered at this link.
*Street shoes are not allowed in the dance studio*
Broadway Kids class will run on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00 at the Charlottesville Center for the Arts.(6 classes total)
If you’d like to order dance shoes and pants locally, we recommend The Hip Joint on the downtown mall.
