For Good: 2024 Homeschool Spring Musical Revue Program
Join us for an exciting, fast-paced, and FUN musical theatre experience that brings together singing, dancing, and acting skills—culminating in a musical revue performance! In this program, students will rehearse inspiring Broadway songs and scenes, developing strong performance technique while building confidence and exploring their creative side in a supportive, encouraging environment.
What to Expect:
* Musical Theatre Training: Students will receive foundational instruction in acting, vocal technique, and dance. They’ll also learn theatrical terminology, stage etiquette, and teamwork skills that are essential in any production.
* Inclusive & Challenging Environment: We welcome both first-time performers and seasoned theatre students. One of our core beliefs is that we never stop learning, and working alongside peers of various experience levels can be incredibly rewarding.
* Customized Musical Revue: Titled “For Good,” our revue will feature a combination of solo, duet/trio, and group numbers—many chosen with student input. This offers a more personalized experience, letting us tailor the show to highlight each performer’s strengths.
* Rehearsals & Performances: Rehearsals take place most Fridays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, culminating in public performances at the end of the semester.
* Audition & Casting: All registered students will have a role. There will be a friendly audition process to help us determine featured parts and ensemble numbers and assess areas o strength and areas for growth. Even if you’re new to theatre, you’ll feel right at home in our welcoming community.
* Attendance Requirements: Please review the attached schedule before registering. Do not sign up if you have more than 2 conflicts with rehearsal dates or if you cannot attend mandatory rehearsals.
* Family Involvement: Families must be able to use the BAND app for communication and updates.
We’re excited to embark on this creative jou
